New Administrators Seminar

The New Administrators Seminar is a monthly professional learning experience for new Assistant Principals which focuses on transition, strengths-based balanced leadership, instructional capacity building, and creating a purposeful school community. The seminar creates a supportive community of practice through which the participants can process their experience and develop as effective school leaders. Tennessee Academy for School Leadership (TASL) credit is earned for this seminar.

New Principals Roundtable

A more informal dialogue on leadership, this learning network of newly-appointed head school principals meets regularly to collaboratively examine research and practices that can enhance principal effectiveness, and support the continued leadership development of the participants.  New school leaders both process their singular experience as a first year school principal, and strategically look ahead toward continuous improvement and professional learning.
