Mastermind Groups

Mastermind Groups bring together small cadres of individuals (in this case, currently-serving rural school principals) on a regular basis through a combination of in-person and virtual meetings.

Mastermind participants check-in briefly with each other and share challenges and promising strategies, but the bulk of their time together is focused on analyzing and developing solutions around a specific problem of practice identified and presented by a designated (rotating) member of the Mastermind Group.

Through AsPIRE, the University of Tennessee will facilitate several rural school principal Mastermind Groups in the East Tennessee region beginning in the early summer and continuing through the 2018-19 school year.
